Dutch Apple Pie, where the crumbles on top never crumbled. Eh. You win some, you lose some. In this case, you get a sweet slice of pie either way.

On today’s domestic agenda:

this week's sewing adventure

Anna, your tunic will be mine.

  1. I need to stop reading your blog when I’m hungry! Because it makes me go crazy with cravings!! hee hee

I can’t wait to see the finished tunic. Check out sew, mama, sew today for the review on it by Stephanie!

  2. I can’t wait to see how your Anna Tunic turns out. I just saw the pattern review on Sew, Mama, Sew and it looks like a great pattern.

  3. Is that your domestic notebook in that top picture? That thing’s huge! Can’t wait to see the tunic; I’m sure it’ll look great!

  4. I have that blue printed fabric!!! Love it! I just ordered Anna, can’t wait to see your’s finished 🙂

  5. Ahh well…. hopefully your sewing will turn out better! (If not, just put some of that topping on it and call it a Tunic Crumble.)

  6. I’m having a domestic afternoon as well, I just popped some cheddar dill scones into the oven from a Barefoot Contessa cookbook. It was a little scary making that “fancy” dough (yeah right) but you can’t go wrong with cheese right? I hope. :o)

  7. Can’t wait to see that tunic – you can do it!!
Oh, how I wish I had a piece of the pie now!

  8. Oooooh! I can’t wait to see your tunic!!! Jealous!!! I want to make mine at some point, too. *sigh*

  9. Oh, the pie looks too good to eat.

I’m excited to see your finished Anna Tunic. Let me know if you have any questions about the assembly!

  10. May I take a spoon to your photo? Who is the lucky recipient of that sweet treat? Good luck on your tunic!

  15. Can’t wait to see the tunic worn by you. If I had to choose, I’d pick the pink fabric…..
Nice pic of the pie, here it’s morning, and I had just a coffee for breakfast………….

  16. I love the look of the Anna tunic and think you’ll look great wearing this style.

  17. Love pie. Apple pie is the bomb. Yours makes me want to make a pie today. I like the sour cream apple on ‘simpley recipes.com’. Yum!

I can’t wait to see your tunic. You picked some beautiful fabric.

  18. Ooh, I can’t wait to see your Anna tunic and hear how the pattern goes.

  19. Oh neat I haven’t gotten that pattern yet. I have several of hers and need to get busy, I’m all into her fabrics right now too, I’m thinking about making several things for the summer (skirts) and some pillow covers for the sofa. Can’t wait to see how it comes out. As far as the apple pie, I’ve been making pies for 30 years and I still goof them up sometimes, baking is always a gamble with me!
