The second time through a pattern is always more enjoyable. I am loving both this yarn (Malabrigo) and the pattern. The result is soft, tightly knit and something I hope the recipient enjoys for many winters.

{Plus, the color way reminds me a bit of Monet, or Van Gogh.}

  1. I like this hat even better than the first one!

  2. Me too – those colors are great. ps, when did your hair get so curly? It looks really cute in that photo. Too bad you probably don’t have much occasion to wear wool hats in Phoenix!

    I love, love, love Malabrigo yarn. My sweet daughter always requests it for the few items I knit for her.

    Agree that the second time is more enjoyable – I’m going to give this pattern a second go. The first time I about ripped all my hair out trying to make it! The *only* reason I endured was because it was for a sweet girl who asked me to make it for her and I used a Noro yarn. 🙂

    Beautiful hat!! That makes me want to play hooky and spend the day knitting. 🙂

  5. Yes, yes and yes!

    There is a yarn dyer from Tucson that did the colors of the Mona Lisa and some other beautiful art – so gorgeous! Kicking myself, though because I didn’t buy any!

  6. Oh, I LIKE!!! Very, very much! Gorgeous yarn!
