CAOK, Week 5: FOOD!

April 10th

CAOK is winding up with Easter just around the corner. This last week of surprise sweets are literally sweet. Check your mailboxes because there may be a Easter basket or two headed your way!

Today, Easter Nests from Nigella Lawson’s “How to be a Domestic Goddess.”

Nigella nest

nest cu, better

This is an easy spring recipe, using melted chocolate, shredded wheat and a few Whopper egg toppers. I highly recommend this cookbook if you are looking for something a bit different. Nigella is the British Martha, but sexy and sweet.

Happy nibbling,
Kelli

  1. Those look scrumptious! I have seen a similar recipe with crunchy chow mein noodles. The fine consistency of the shredded wheat looks like it would work better. Yum!

  2. yummy – those look awesome. *sigh* Nigella’s book(s) have been on my wishlist for years. Do you like …Goddess? I can’t decide which one I should treat myself too…

  3. those are really cute. 🙂

our tradition is to bake a bunny cake. i have actually seen the patern for them around the past few years, but we have been making them for over 30 years!! i will post a photo of this year’s version on my blog.
