How does your garden grow?

February 27th

I know most of the United States is blanketed by snow. But these are the halcyon days of living in the desert — the smug days. The days of glory and sandals and walking around without sweating.

And also — the days when things grow outside in the sun.

These are the days of broccoli and tomatoes. These are the days of kale and Brussels sprouts. These are the days of rambling gardening updates and happiness whenever I walk in and out of my home.

  1. I must have my garden in a sunnier spot because all my broccoli, lettuces, and peas are on their last legs! I’m jealous that you’re still enjoying the goodness. We just pulled all the spent broccoli this week in preparation for summer stuff 🙂

  2. I love that your garden is right by the front door – totally cheerful way to go about your day 🙂

I’m so jealous! We are just starting to think about a garden. We have a small fenced area in the back that we might be able to deer-proof. And I live about 15 minutes from a huge heirloom seed company so it seems like I should use some of them!

  4. So lovely! Eat up!
