Notes in the Margin

Nico isn’t mine. He is adorable though, isn’t he? I love taking photos of dogs and dream of the day when I have one of my own. My current home (tiny) and schedule (stupidly busy, minus all that sleeping) isn’t keen to good dog ownership at the moment. Fingers crossed these will change in 2008. When I make the great leap into doggielandia, it is more likely to be this variety from this lovely locale. If you want to see a super sweet pooch, I’m in love with Ted from afar.

— In Stitches winners, a new project and more fabulous domestic surprises to be posted Monday! Sorry for the delay. Holidays, travel, etc. Someone was out gallivanting in Italy and needless to say, it wasn’t me. Like how I passed the buck on that one? Hee hee.

Stay tuned. Same batty time. Same batty channel.

  1. Great Danes are such sweetie pies. I can definitely imagine you with one. As for the In Stitches Sew Along, I’m not done with my project yet! I worked up until New Years Eve about 5:00pm, threw up my hands in resignation and haven’t touched it since. I guess I should get back to it…

  2. I love dogs! I too have a small place and can’t wait until I have a yard. I like visiting the humane society. 🙂 However, I often get attached to a dog and wish I could take it home. I’ll stay tuned for Monday’s post. It will likely inspire me even more to hurry and learn how to sew.

  3. I’ll be looking forward to Monday’s announcement of the new book. I had fun with Nov/Dec because I had one of my sons home from college and I made the project for him. Oh, and hooray to you for adopting from your local shelter. I wish I could take every one of those animals out of their cages and put them in a nice loving home.

  4. I completely understand the dog thing. I have cats instead. I think I’m becoming a cat person.

I’m having a contest at my blog if you’d like to participate, I’d love to have you!

  5. Totally unrelated to this post. How has Body for Life been going? I took a 3 week holiday break–totally unplanned, but hey!

  6. I can see you with a Great Dane, Kelli, he’d be a fun running partner.

I can hardly wait to see what is on our agenda for 2008 but shall endeavor to be patient until Monday.

  7. Kelli, honey, that’s not a dog. That’s a horse. Small horse, yes, but still a horse. I do approve of the source however.
Think beagle! Snoopy is a beagle.
