San Francisco

March 26th

I’m in SF for a few days for a conference and plan on spending every free moment wandering with my camera and appetite. This city is nothing if not full of strange sights and great food.

Will it let you down?

pollo asada

Pancho Villa

The pollo asada super burrito at Pancho Villa was B+. That carrot-based orange salsa? A++. And the agua de jamaica was out of this world. Lovely first meal in the windy city.

  8. Oh, I love SF. Take a walk on the labyrinth at Grace Cathedral on Nob Hill at California/Taylor or is it Tyler? (I think that is the right corner). Beautiful one inside and outside. Great Italian restaurant up that way too. Can’t remember the name…Darn! Enjoy.

  9. I have to recommend both the 21st Amendment (low key brewery) on 2nd Street by the Giants Stadium, and Bocce, an amazing Italian restaurant in North Beach on Green Street. Enjoy the city!

  10. Oh my goodness-you’re on my turf now! If you’re staying downtown, head to Brenda’s for brunch-it’s fantastic! Definitely worth the wait. If you end up going back to the Mission, head over to Humphry Slocombe for some great ice cream. They’re @ Harrison and 24th. Check them out on twitter, if you want a preview of their flavors. Have a great time!

  11. Two great restaurants there: Cha Cha Cha’s and The Stinking Rose.

  12. I’m sure we will get tons of pics and of stories…..right???? Hav fun girl!

  13. The City!! Lucky girl; lots to see. If you can get out to the Presidio and the CA Legion of Honor, there’s some great views. If you can get to Chinatown, have some dim sum. Regardless, enjoy every minute.
