Shagadelic, Baby

October 10th

I’m rubbing my two remaining brain cells together to write this post. Ew. Ew. Ew. So gross, with your giant stains and cat hair from the previous owner. Ew.

gold shag, baby

Why hello, new carpet. You are surprisingly soft, and shag. And a bit too gold. AY.

  1. Ah, home improvement projects never end but the results of each step are so fun aren’t they? We are in the midst of replacing nasty old carpet with hardwood lamenant and it is just so awesome to watch our house shape up and take on our personality. Have fun! Thanks for sharing your results.

  2. Why is it that carpet never looks the same in the your house as it does in the showroom? Enjoy your new floors. I really like that multi color look.

We’re in the midst of home-improvement hell ourselves…we’re gearing up to sand & finish the hard wood floors in the living room, dining room, front porch and teeny bedroom this weekend. Cleaning everythig out of our main living space really stinks! I will be pulling out nasty porch carpet later this evening. Wheeeee!

  5. You seem like the kind of girl who paints her own walls, am I right. Man, that sounds so proactive. If you want the name of a good painter, I’ve got one. I’m not the kind of girl who paints her own walls, I go do anything else but that. *sigh*

  6. congratulations on your new floors! Just in time for a cosy winter.
